A. Information You Provide Directly

• Account Registration & Authentication: Full name, phone number, email address, date of birth, gender, and social login credentials (if you sign in with Google or Facebook).
• Profile Details: Photos, biography, relationship goals, interests, languages spoken, religion, and profile preferences.
• Identity Verification: Optional government-issued identification document or selfie photo if you choose to request a verified profile badge.
• Communications & Chat Data: Messages, voice notes, stickers, gifts, and interaction history exchanged with other users within the app.
• In-App Purchases & Transactions: Order tokens and transaction history for subscription plans and virtual coins (payment card details are processed directly and securely through Google Play Billing and are never stored on our servers).

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Geolocation Data: With your permission, we collect precise (GPS) and approximate (network-based) location to display nearby profiles, compute distance for matches, and support the Passport feature.
• Audio & Video Streams: Audio and video data transmitted during live 1-on-1 calls. Real-time media streams are encrypted and are not recorded or archived on our servers.
• Device & Usage Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, connection status, crash logs, and app performance analytics.

02 How We Use Your Information

We use the data collected for legitimate business purposes and core app functionality:

• Matchmaking & Discovery: Calculating mutual compatibility, filtering profiles by age/distance/preferences, and presenting potential matches.
• Real-Time Communication: Facilitating direct text messaging, real-time audio calls, and video calls between matched users.
• Push Notifications: Alerting you about new matches, incoming messages, incoming call notifications, and profile likes via OneSignal.
• Safety, Trust & Anti-Spam: Detecting fake accounts, preventing unauthorized logins, combating harassment, and enforcing community safety rules.
• In-App Purchases: Unlocking premium features, virtual gifts, coins, and subscription perks.
• Customer Support: Assisting you with technical troubleshooting, bug reports, and safety inquiries.

03 Device Permissions & Hardware Access

ByChance requests explicit runtime permissions on Android devices to deliver essential dating features. You have full control to grant or revoke these permissions in your Android System Settings at any time:

04 Profile & Privacy Controls (Blocking & Safety)

We believe user privacy and personal safety are fundamental. ByChance provides built-in privacy and security controls directly accessible inside the app under Profile > Account & Security > Profile & Privacy:

To provide stable, secure, and performant functionality, ByChance integrates trusted third-party SDKs that process limited data in compliance with their own privacy policies:

• Google Play Services & Google Play Billing: Account authentication, in-app purchases, and security checks (Google Privacy Policy).
• Google Maps & Geocoding APIs: Mapping displays and approximate distance calculations (Google Maps Terms).
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Displaying contextual and personalized advertisements (Google Ads Privacy).
• OneSignal: Dispatching real-time push notifications and VoIP incoming call alerts (OneSignal Privacy Policy).
• Agora.io / ZEGOCLOUD: Encrypted WebRTC infrastructure for live audio and video calling (Agora Privacy Policy).

06 Account Deletion & Data Retention

In full adherence to Google Play's Account Deletion Policy, we empower all ByChance users to easily request and execute the permanent deletion of their account and associated data:

How to Delete Your Account In-App:

1. Open the ByChance application.
2. Navigate to your Profile tab.
3. Tap Settings or Account & Security.
4. Select Delete Account and confirm your request.

If you have uninstalled the app or are unable to access your account, you may also request complete account and data erasure by emailing our support team at mdayaan152001@gmail.com with your registered phone number or email address.

07 Children's Privacy (Strict 18+ Policy)

ByChance is exclusively designed and operated for adults. Individuals under the age of 18 (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) are strictly prohibited from downloading, registering for, or using the Application.

We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from minors. If we discover or are notified that an account belongs to an individual under 18 years old, we will immediately suspend the account and permanently delete all related personal information from our servers.

08 Data Security & Encryption

We implement rigorous technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, accidental alteration, disclosure, or destruction:

• All network traffic between your mobile device and our backend servers is encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).
• Audio and video call streams are transmitted using secure, end-to-end encrypted real-time protocols.
• Sensitive access tokens, authorization secrets, and login credentials are encrypted in local device secure storage.
• Database access is restricted, audited, and safeguarded with firewall and intrusion prevention layers.

09 Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your geographic location and local jurisdiction (such as under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the following data rights:

• Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: Edit, correct, and update your personal profile information at any time within the app.
• Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request full deletion of your account and personal records.
• Right to Restrict or Object: Control permissions such as Location, Camera, and Microphone via your device settings.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: Revoke consent for promotional notifications or analytics at any time.
